BUILDING BLOCKS for Literacy®

BUILDING BLOCKS for Literacy® is a 12-hour recertification course presented by Stern Center instructors in a classroom setting over two days. Participants receive professional development in the areas of:
• phonological awareness
• vocabulary and grammar development
• shared book reading
• the speech-to-print connection
Registration priority will be given to licensed childcare providers, registered family care providers, and parents who are home schooling in Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle Counties in Vermont.
