The Cynthia K. Hoehl Institute for Excellence (CKHIE) within the Stern Center for Language and Learning is a model of best instructional practices for educators. It supports access to professional learning for teachers and instructional services for students. Cynthia K. Hoehl, a former teacher, established the CKHIE as part of her vision for helping all children learn.
Schools and individual educators are invited to submit proposals for professional learning, which may be eligible to receive underwriting grants. Both opportunities are subject to continued availability of funds.
The application process is easy and all workshops and custom designed plans offered by the Stern Center for Language and Learning are eligible for consideration. If your application is approved, this grant will underwrite a portion of the cost. Applications must be received prior to registration.
