Multiple Hour Student Instruction
The Stern Center offers individualized instructional interventions and academic learning supports for students with complicated learning profiles.We can instruct students one-to-one at the Stern Center for some or all of the school day or we can work with a student at his/her school to best accommodate their schedule.
Instruction and support are available in the following areas:
- Reading Fluency and Comprehension
- Spelling
- Writing Mechanics, Composition, and Grammar
- Math Operations and Problem Solving
- Study and Organizational Skills
The Stern Center will collaborate with schools and parents to provide the level of intervention necessary for academic progress. Our Instructors can become members of student teams to collaboratively identify needs and recommend modifications necessary for student success.
Funding sources vary depending on the team decision to enroll the student in Multiple Hour Instruction services.
