Professional Learning
Stern Center Professional Learning programs offer opportunities to learn best practices based in research. Live and web based courses are available to share information about how to most effectively teach students from preschool through adulthood. Consultations are offered on-site in collaboration with school teams, parents, and medical professionals.
Workshops and Courses
The Stern Center provides research-proven, best practice professional learning workshops and courses addressing literacy, language and learning. Educators who regularly pursue professional development in the best practices of teaching can become maximally effective with all types of learners. Current research clearly indicates that increasing the knowledge of teachers leads directly to increased student success. A full spectrum of courses is available to extend teacher knowledge in assessment and instruction.
