T∙I∙M∙E for Teachers Online

T.I.M.E for Teachers Online is an interactive course that integrates CD ROM-based lessons with instructor-led, internet-based discussions.

Participants will:
• develop a conceptual base for teaching the structure of language at the word level to students in primary classrooms
• use developmental frameworks for determining children’s reading and spelling levels and needs, and for setting instructional goals
• explore explicit and systematic instructional practices consistent with current scientific research in phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, and spelling
